ENGINEERING BEFORE FARRINGTON
The discipline came first.
The founder and his father work in precision engineering in Bolton. The family engineering background includes demanding work associated with aerospace, motorsport and medical sectors.
That experience shaped an approach based on tolerance, repeatability, accountability and the behaviour of material.
WHY FARRINGTON

FARRINGTON began with a simple proposition: apply the capabilities and standards of precision engineering to objects intended to be owned, handled and seen.
Engineering usually hidden inside industry becomes the object itself.
BOLTON
A real place of manufacture.
FARRINGTON is based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. The workshop is where components are machined, objects are assembled, relevant dimensions are inspected and complete products are function tested.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Use determines the reason for an object. Proportion, material and manufacture determine its character.
